A New Fun Thing
I heard about a new web site which lets you trade book through the web for free!! All you pay is the shipping and then you get the right to trade with others. It is so cool because then you can look through all kinds of books and pay on $2. I found it threw a radio program. The name is Title Trader and is a great place to look.

I used to belong to another site like that a couple of years ago...got a couple of books, sent a couple of books, and then it went sour on a video game, IIRC. (never got the thing someone had promised to send.)
But I might give this one a shot.
Also, the post office book rate applies to all "media" including vids, CDs, etc.
