Ok,
We have had quick changes in tempter.
Last week we had temps in the high 80s and low 90s. This is in November when we have temps in the 70s. The highs mean that we were breaking records all over the area.
Now switch to this week were we are having temps that are in the 20s at night. The one thing that I am glad of is that this weekend we finally got the heater turned on.
Here's the thing this past May we had the house fumigated and they turned off the gas. When we had it turned back on the gasman would not turn our heater on because it did not meet code. We left it off through the summer why use gas when we don't need it. Then come winter we had problems turning the heater on. Luckily for us the handy man (working on the back house) turned it on so we did not freeze.
The only good new is that tonight will be the last night of cold.

Today is a day to think about what you are thankful for.

1. My mom she can drive me crazy sometimes but without her I don't know where I will be today.
2. The cats they make life nice.

Can't Think Of Anything Else For Now

Starting Wednesday Brenda (my boss) and I are working on the office Christmas party. The reason it is so important is that this is not a small office party but one for over one hundred and twenty-five people.
Yesterday we got the invitations for all the people printed today they will go out most handed to the people they are labeled for.
When I got into the office today I discovered they had put all the Christmas stuff in my office including potpourri so that my office smells like pine trees and cinnamon and there is a whole area that is covered in glitter. They bought this because we are making our own centerpieces and they are not going to be flowers but bowls full of gifts like movie tickets and whole coffee beans.
It is great because of all the smell and also it is nice just to sit and look at it all.

As anyone who looks at my photos could see that I worked on Christmas Tree Lane this pass weekend. This is an all volunteer thing that always needs more of them. I had not done this for along time. Last week when mom and I were driving by the house we saw them working and I decided that I would help them again this year. The nice thing is many of the old skills came back to me. It was a fun way to spend a day because a lot of the people who were there I have known my whole life. Then after we had finished for the day we all had lunch together.
That was the nice part of the week. The bad kind of part of it was the next day. I did not mean for it to be one. What happened was there was a scavenger hunt at Disneyland as I had said before. The problem as I saw it was the people I was with wanted to win and did not think about making the whole thing fun. Also it was one of the hottest days in November and anyone who knows me knows how I feel about the heat. All they seemed to say is move faster and when I was doing my part of the puzzles all they could do was complain about how slow I was. By the end I wanted to kill someone.
The worst part of all this is that it also effected how I felt all of yesterday. When I got up my feet still hurt and I had a migran and misted out on too much sleep which meant I had a had a short fuse. At the end of the night I had a nice cry. But I when to bed early and I feel a lot better then I did this time yesterday.
What I have decided is that I will just get great a book of fun facts and walk around the park and see what I can see take my time and have fun that will be the best for me and not do the hunt unless I know the people in the group ahead of time.
