Not Much Fun
Yesterday and Today we have not have fun at home.
Mom got today off as a RDO and took yesterday off to get a 5 day weekend.
We planed to fix a pipe and then go out and have some fun yesterday but then it all when pear shaped. First mom cut in the wrong place and ended up having to call in a plummer only to find out that they needed to come back today to finish the job because the water did not turn off full so the glue could not dry and it kept braking so he came back today and full turned it off with a tool the water company uses.
Then when it was fixed (yea) but then the line right up against the valve to the street so he then re-turned off the water and did still more work and they were giving it only a 50% chance of working. Luckily it did work that will be all for now.
The worst part was the waiting for the glue to dry. Because of the water pressure we have in the system it took two hours for the glue to dry before we could test and see if the new parts would work.
Luckily it did so we all have water and can do other things.
The one bad thing is we never got to do the fun thing we planed for Yesterday evening but we did do something fun on Sunday so it was not a total loss.

April Shower bring May Flowers but What does rain in May bring?
Last night into today we got pouring rain. This is not the first time we got rain but this is the worst in over 80 years. The news is saying the last time they saw rain this strong was in 1921. The one nice thing kind of is that when it is all over we will get back to are Spring weather fairly quickly.
The down side is because of needed repairs and lack of money the heater in the house is down so it is cold in the house. Why is the heater not fixed. Well, after all the money mom has had to put out in the last two months with such things as repairing both homes roofs, fumigation both homes, and major repairs to the outside sprinkler system she could not find the money for yet another repair bill and who needs a heater in LA in the spring and summer? HA, shows what we know.

Life changes
This band was playing at a party/fundraiser that I when to yesterday. The thing about this that makes me feel old is that the two guitar players are people I have know since they were babies. Which I know they hate to hear, but that's life.
Now they are both talking about were they are going to go to college and what they are going to do after school. It just shows how quickly life has passed.
For anyone who know the names of the boys and wants to know more about what they are up to please feel free to email me and I have more to tell about them but for there privacy I will not tell that info here.
Also not told in this photo that makes me feel old is that a cousin on my mom's side has just graduated from college yesterday. This was always the younger person in my life but he got a full scholarship so he had to get through school in four years and I could and did take my time. So, that is why we are now done with school near the same time.
All this shows that life just moving on.

Back Pains
For the last few day when I wake up my back has been hurting. By the mid-morning it is gone and I go on with my day.
Today though I have had pain all day long. The pain has been so bad that I really have not done anything but stand and watch a man who came to fix the outside automatic sprinklers.
Also most of the day I have kept a heating pad at my back which has help some.
The worst part of this is I have no health insurance and no job which means I can't go see a doctor to see if I should worry. I hope that the heat and lack of work will make my back feel better. But, if anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful
