No Luck
Ok I did not want to talk about this until it happened for the luck but there is not luck.
On Friday I found another job listing one that I would have LOVE to have. Yes, it was part time but what I great job it would have been.
The Autry Museum put up a listing for a museum educator. I could have done this job, loved this job, and want this job. So I applied for the job and then I got an email telling me that they will call me today and tell me if I would get an interview.
I hoped and waited and hoped and today nothing.
So I am still without a job.

Seems Like I Am Never Happy
Today I when on a job interview for a job at a museum the things is that I am not sure that I really want the job.
It is not that the job that is not good I would be a teacher at this well know and lager museum nor is the problem the museum it is good though I will not name it this museum is know through out the world.
The problem is me the job is only $9.75 and hour and it is not a full 40 hours.
The only reason this is a real problem is that it takes an hour and half to get there one way. With the car I have right now that is 1/4 a tank of gas to get to and from there once. Way too much at the pay rate I would be at. Also I looked in to taking the bus and that would be 120 to 140 mins one way.
But, I am not sure what to do.
Take the job and hope that I will make more money soon, or not and hope that another job will come around. I have waited for a job to come for so long but now that one has I am not sure if it is right for me or not?
What also does not help is that the job would have me work all day on Sundays and that is hard to do because from as little as once to as much as three times a month mom would need the car and she goes in the opposite direction and only have the one car.
I really want to work in a museum but the more I talk about it the worst the job looks for me so I most likly will just keep on looking and see if something better does not come along.

Two Good Things In One Day
Today I got two phone calls both with good news
1. I got a temporary job which will last until 9-8-06
This means I will have money on my birthday
The reason I like this is because on my birthday I want to be able to go some where and have some fun.
2. I got a phone call for an interview on a museum job.
Though the job it not full time and is a tour guide I still really want it.
So think good thoughts for me please.

Too Good To Put Down
Ok I am not working right now so I am doing other things
Watching TV
Doing Yard Work
Cleaning the House
But also walking and reading
Ok Now that you know what I am up to there is a great book that I have read that I just have to tell you about
This is the first book part of the Old Kingdom trilogy it was so good that I could not put it down even when I was meant to do other things.
The book is calledSabriel and the author is Garth Nix
I hope that his other books he has written is a good as the first one I read.

Finally Some Respect
I get Weekend America on ipod and was listening to last weeks show that way and heard something that made me happy.
Many times they talk about world music and on this last weeks show they talked about an artist named Ljova who has an whole album of viola music most of it played on its own.
There are two things you need to know
1. I along with both of my sisters played the viola
2. As they said on the show it is the Rodney Dangerfield of instruments "It gets not respect"
So when I heard this music it just made me happy because you can do get things with a viola but not one ever tries.

Waiting Again
Yesterday was my first day with out a job in a while.
As an extra day off it was nice but today I now want something to do so I am doing all kinds of "extra" cleaning jobs. Things like cleaning out the heating ducts to do this I took off the grate and then pull out the trash.
I am also doing the basics like washing dishes and cleaning the bathroom.
I have also not stopped looking for work and hoping that something will pop soon. And I will keep looking and seeing if some other kind of job might be nice too.
