A Really Funny Video
I heard about this web site from npr and it is great. It is videos that people have put up on the site you can only watch them and can't download them on to your computer but if you have high speed internet then they are great to watch. They are everything from home made one to parts of shows and even old films of rock stars like this one none of which anyone has complianted about because if they do they the site takes the link down. Any way looking around I found two of the funniest shorts both were trying to figure out what a singer was saying in his song and then drawing what they though he said. Both are the same song and the same band the band is the "Fall Out Boys" and the song is "Sugar, We're Going Down". The first is a little dirty but oh so funny. The second is not dirty but is still funny.
Enjoy

Oh Yea It's winter
This morning everyone in LA got a reminder that oh yea it is winter.
the roofs and plants all have frost on them and they are finally taking about rain in the five day forecast.
This after the last two week were the tempter was in the 80's and above.
And the rain has not fallen in a couple of months.
So now it is winter like it should be. So hopefully we will get lots of rain because unlike Seattle we really need it.

From Pasadena to Pomona
Today I had my jury duty moved from Pasadena to Pomona for those of you who don't know LA this turned a 5 min commute were I could even take the bus (1 bus ten mins) to Pomona which is like on the border of LA county and is a 30 to 45 min drive and don't even think of taking a bus to there it is not worth it.
The worst part is that it looks like I will get on a jury and it is set to last until the first this does not even count the deliberations
Oh Well that is life for me
Don't ask any thing about the trial I can't talk about until I am done and as of right now they are still picking a jury and I am on the panel that is being questioned
I look on the bright side though this is only the second time I have served in the last 6 years so it could have been worst because LA county has a one day one trial rule that all you serve is either one day or one trial and then you are done for the rest of the year.
So we will see what happens

Walking Wounded
Today was the worst thing happened my ankle is hurt.
The reason is this is the worst thing not only because I still have a cold, my left wrist is injured and now my left ankle as well.
The ONLY good thing about all of this is that I have no were to go. The reason is today and most likely the rest of the week I am on-call for jury duty which means that the temp agency will not send me any jobs though I am still looking for museum jobs right now but if I tell them I am on-call they will hold off hiring me until that is over as well.
The best thing is that the medication is working on my cold and the splint is helping my wrist. The cold is dyeing and the wrist can come out of the splint for short periods of time and move without pain. YEA

Good News I Think
I found out that I don't have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Which is good but I do have tendinitis. So the whole not moving the wrist thing was a good thing. I think I did it at my kick boxing class. It means that I have to watch what I do and will wear the splint from now on in class. The bad part of this is that my right wrist is starting to bug me because it is not use to all the work it has been doing.
The other thing is the runny nose which I had during the fall semester is back. This means I am back with the saline nasal spray, Antihistamine, and gargling warm salt water. I hope that this all works, so I will feel better. The problem is not so much the nose but the fact it ends up bugging my throat. This is why I work so hard at stopping it.
The only good thing is I am not going to work until it least Wednesday because I start jury duty Tuesday and the temp agency knows about it so they will not send me any work until after I am done with it and this is the same for any other job I have put in for.

The last sign of graduation and Other things
Well it came today that final symbol of the fact I am a college graduate. My college diploma came in the mail today. This made me feel like it is all over I am done with school. The one nice thing is I could help are tenet get a better hand on what to do because she is starting back at college again and she last when to college was out of state.
At the same time I am worrying about the rest of my life because my wrist on my LEFT hand hurts to move and I have had to put it in a splint to keep it from moving and hurting. This because when it dose not move it did not hurt. If this is what I fear it is then I am in deep trouble because it could be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
The two things which really suck is 1. I am left handed and you try to do things without moving the wrist and 2. I am ONLY 25!!!!!!!
